Had this sticky note up on my desk for a while. Hm. Why? Sometimes it’s motivating, but at times it’s discouraging. Sometimes it makes me believe that what I’m doing is right but at times it makes me doubt that. But one thing’s sure. It compels me to stop for a while and evaluate my actions. (I received good feedback at work today so I’m sharing this.) =)
Guys are like bees!!
I had this up as my bbm stat for a while: guys are like bees, they go from one flower to the next!
To which most of my friends asked what was the reason behind such statement. Honestly, I initially thought it was just a reminder for myself, to not get stung by the buzzing bees around. But I put it up as a stat, anyway.
Then a “charmer” friend reacted: girls are like bees, they talk a lot; like teachers, they think they know everything; like songs, sometimes we get into them but sometimes they are annoying; … but above all, they are like the oxygen —- for real men won’t deny that we can’t live without them.
And that’s it, really. Both the opposite sex can go on long lists of complaints about each other. But at the end of the day, we just gotto admit that we would still seek either simple company, friendship, or love and care from each other.
